Oliver’s Twisted Christmas (Dec 2019)

A night of fun, Charles Dickens and songs to suit the theme. See Oliver! in a way you have never seen before focusing on the adults he meets after leaving the orphanage and how a single action changes the course of their lives. This multi-disciplinary performance will feature the characters you know and love in an environment that you have never seen before. Our story focuses on Fagin, Nancy and Bill Sykes throughout most of the evening which looks at the past (When Nancy and Bill Sykes Met and were married), present (When Bill finds out Nancy let Oliver go, loses his temper and kills her) and the future (Where Bill a broken man lament’s on how his life has fallen apart) and right back to the present where Bill chooses to join in the Christmas cheer rather than murdering his wife. By merging the popular stories of Oliver! And A Christmas Carol the audience are sure to have a night to remember.

The show was a roaring success and was performed 5 times during December 2019 featuring Sharon Brown as the Narrator, Cathy Robinson as Nancy, Joshua Williams as Bill Sykes, Lee O’Connell as Fagin, John-Joseph Boyle as the Ghost of Christmas Past, Tilly Tilson as the Ghost of Christmas Present, Margaret Wheldon as the Ghost of Christmas Future and John Turner as the Artful Dodger.

Williams Creatives created this bespoke performance which featured singing and dancing, stilt walkers and a table magician. If you would like to discuss a similar project or theme with us then please contact us at Sue@williamscreatives.co.uk
