Joshua is the Creative Director of Williams Creatives, having founded the company in 2018 to spearhead his innovative original play ‘On the Surface, We Smile.’ Since then he has gathered a team of highly skilled people in order to continue doing the things they love. A writer, actor, singer and director, Joshua is currently working on his next original play What Did You Wish For? Set to debut in 2021.
Deputy Creative Director
Sharon is the Deputy Creative Director for Williams Creatives and has been working with the company since it started back in November 2018. Sharon brings a wealth of experience to our company, having been a choir singer and an accomplished actor featuring in shows such as ‘A Christmas Carol,’ ‘The Tempest’ and ‘On the Surface, We Smile’ as well as making her musical theatre debut in ‘Miscast: the Musical Cabaret.’
Creative Lead – Support
Sue is the Creative Lead for Williams Creatives Support Team, having joined our team in February 2020. Sue has a real passion for watching top quality Theatre, Cinema and especially Musicals. (Her favourites are Chicago, Cats and Les Misérables) Sue’s natural compassion and approachability makes her excellent for all our networking and outreach activities.
Creative Lead – Technical
Tom is the Creative Lead for Williams Creatives Technical Team and has been with us since the very start in November 2018. An expert in all things technical, Tom is the man to turn to for the technical aspects of live theatre, video recording and editing and sound engineering, never failing to make our shows look and sound exciting and spectacular. Alongside Williams Creatives, Tom has also worked with both The Little Theatre and Leicester City Women FC for many years.
Creative Lead – Marketing and Social Media
Having joined the team in September 2020, Carla brings over 10 years marketing experience to Williams Creatives and is focused on helping us grow, succeed and thrive.
With the responsibility of both traditional and digital marketing Carla will be increasing our presence and spreading the word about Williams Creatives far and wide.
She lives with her husband and beloved Cocker Spaniel Milo who is considered a secondary member of her marketing agency, Greyrose Marketing.
Creative Lead – Digital Media
John-Joseph is the Creative Lead for Williams Creatives’ Digital Media, having joined our team in January 2020. A Scriptwriter by day, Digital Artist by Night, John knows the importance of using exciting media and visuals to reach our audiences. Alongside writing, John has a strong resume of acting roles, having appeared in ‘And then There were None’, ‘Romeo and Juliet’ ,‘Waiting for Godot’ and will be appearing next in our UK tour of ‘On the Surface, We Smile.’
Creative Lead – Sales
Ken’s recently joined Williams Creatives to lead the sales of all our output. He’s the friendly, chirpy guy on the phone asking you to buy tickets or come along to one of our events! He’s sold everything from high end movie cameras to everyday things like mobile phones, and even boring old electric and gas – the common strand being that he likes a good natter on the phone. He also acts – mainly for stage – and also when he pretends to be too busy to make everyone a cup of tea.
Creative Associate – Marketing
Cameron is the Creative Associate for Williams Creatives Marketing and Social Media Team, having joined in September 2020. With previous experience in marketing and PR, Cameron is responsible for the promotion of productions and making sure that they get the audiences they deserve. He also has a long-held interest in theatre, with his favourite productions being Amadeus and This House.
Creative Associate – Choreography
Jade is a Creative Associate with Williams Creatives, having first worked with Williams Creatives as a choreographer and performer on ‘Miscast: At the Movies’. Jade studied Musical Theatre at Guthlaxton College and then went on to study Drama and Education at De Montfort University, later qualifying as a primary school teacher. Her theatre credits include shows such as ‘Copacabana’, ‘Fiddler on the Roof’, ‘Anything Goes’, ‘Guys & Dolls’, ‘Annie’ and many more.
